Hi folks

My pal ahs to travel down the road to inverness and was wondering if anyone has been on the road today as i can't find any reprts on anything North of Inverness. Just wondered if the conditions are clear.

There was heavy snow this evening at the Ord. Mixed in with high winds and fog, it made that stretch of the road rather difficult. Further south, there was heavy snow at Alness around 7.00pm.

There is no snow here on the Black Isle at the moment, and none in Inverness all day today. However, it is bitterly cold at the moment, and ice may become an issue.
