:eek:Have a look at www.scottishparliament.uk (http://www.scottishparliament.uk) & work your way to MSP expenses. Its no wonder they work so hard at hanging onto their jobs!
I had a good look at our esteemed J.Stone esq. & am amazed what he can & does claim for - From Family 1st Class rail travel to milk & newspapers from local shops in Tain, £80 for a nights Hotel accomodation in Thurso last April etc.etc.
A few years of this & with a nice pay off & huge pension it really is a good way of making a nice nest egg.
I wonder how much 'our lot' get for their jaunts up & down to Inverness etc to attend Council Meetings etc - It does make one wonder!
Maybe this is why there is no cash for Schools, Road Maintenance etc.
