Hi went for a walk today and got very close to the wildlife, I was quite pleased. :D

Very well taken indeed Dorrie,not as easy as it seems to get a nice sharp image of Fulmars in flight.You right to be pleased.

Great shot Dorrie.

Fulmars don't appear to be moving very fast until you try to photograph them in flight, this one is caught just right.

Thank you. I was amazed at the difference in wing shape and action. I always thought both wings would be the same. I like it when I see something new that I wouldn't have seen as well otherwise. :)

Hi Dorrie, Nice photo.

Were there many fulmars there?

I heard they were back on the cliffs around Orkney before Christmas, however when I walked up Holborn Head beyond Scrabster quarry at New Year there was a solitary Fulmar sitting on the cliff face and we never saw another the whole afternoon. It looked quite lost by itself.
