ok just been slobbing out on the settee this afternoon and it's bugging me, the immodium advert where they use the flip book woman, ....
is she picking a strawberry off the tree?! ... am i going daft? i thought strawberries were a ground cover plant.

I am not 100% sure but as far as i know its a strawberry! Me and my OH were discussing it when we saw it! :eek:

Woodie Guthrie (1912-1967) wrote this, and as OH loves Woodie Guthrie, it was a favourite we used to try and sing in the car :D when our children were small...ooh late 80s, early 90s. I'm ambiguously pleased to hear to again on TV .

The Audi advert uses his version. What an interesting face he had...and what an influential life he lead as figurehead of radical American Folk Music. Best known for writing "This Land is your Land", he regularly appeared on stage with the words "This Machine Kills Fascists" emblazoned on his guitar. Not sure he would have approved of his song being used to sell an up-market car. :confused
