It is amazing what can be achieved with alot of training and a good relationship between horse and rider.
I used to do something similar when I rode many moons ago, only I would use a slip knot cord around the neck so it wouldn't be completely reinless.
It's alot of weight distribution on the riders part as well as leg, hand and voice signals. Clever, although I don't like seeing horses spinning like that.
