WAFC v Cove Postponed

Tomorrows game v Cove Rangers is postponed due to a frozen pitch.

it would be nice if the powers that be that cancel football matches take the time to inform the referees that the match is cancelled.
as both the linesmen for this match have still not officially be told

Lynne: I feel for those assistants that aren't kept informed of situations just like this, however as I said to you earlier the Match referee is the 1st point of Contact when a game is cancelled and he normally contacts his assistants not the home club, in this case WAFC.
However to ensure this doesn't happen again I will make a point of contacting the assistants myself to ensure they have indeed been informed just out of curtoisy.
I've spoken to the match referee myself and he informed me that he normally does contact his assistants, but it just slipped his mind. I suppose given the time of the year we can let him off this time.
I dare say we are all forgetful at some time or the other!
