Im always looking for new hobbies but never seem to get the time anymore with a newborn son!

I dont horse riding for 12 years, also part of a shooting team in the Army cadets, i like drawing, gaming, building etc etc!

I prefer action hobbies being able to do things! Keep myself fit and busy!

Anything anyone can think on i can take up that will not consume too much time? Obviously thinking in the summer time when its warmer! :D

There are locations across the UK and Norway, you have to of done 200+ sky dives before you are allowed access to this crazy activity. good luck ; )

St Andews or Strathallan are the nearest locations for a Sky dive.

Got a life, its called running a family and a house! The org is extremelly welcoming and "most" people are very friendly! I was just pondering for ideas of a new hobby as i have done alot in the past but most i would not have time for now like having a horse!

So being a fan of the org and the people in it...i thought i would ask them! Always seem to have ideas to give! And i was right...they have replied and given ideas! (scary ones tho) but hey...i always aim to do something extreme in a year...so i might just try bunjee jumping!

Running is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the UK but that's not what I'm going to suggest. Info on another of the fastest growing hobbies is below:

I'm going for the Eglu!

What do you think?

Your wee man could be collecting eggs with you by the end of the year, how cool is that!

Well, it's not exactly physical (unless you count banging your head on the desk with frustraion at times :) ), but have you ever researched your family history? It's what brought me to this forum in the first place, as my people are from Thurso. You should pop on over to the genealogy section and have a look. It's strangely addictive, and you can work around your children when you do it (I have two little girls), as a lot of it can be done from home on your computer.

Just a thought. Not everyone can get into it, and think i'm totally mad, but you never know :)

Good luck finding a hobby.

Try gardening. Constant fight against the elements and other things mother nature sets against us. Great when you can say "I did it" against all the odds. Makes you start to think about the beauties that can surround us.

Agree with Kristymac. A fascinating pastime, not too expensive, and can certainly widen your horizons and can give a great deal of satisfaction. You just never know who may pop up.Lots of good advice on the org.

I would love to start gardening! My garden is a pure mess! I have garages at the back and people are always throwing stuff over and i have given up on it now!

But i never know where to start! Do i weed? Cut the grass? etc etc etc! Grrrrr!

My Grandad has been researching our family tree for many years! He has gone hundreds of years back and is very interesting!
