i had a very traditional gown
full catherdal train with pearl inset
tons of lace and all the trimmings..
my mum aunt and godmother picked out my dress as i was getting married in scotland and they couldnt be here.. so let them choose my dress .. so they could be part of the wedding

It was a brilliant day, everyone in black leather and on bikes, did 5/10 Min's in a dress then back to the leathers. Had a motorbike escort to the church as well. I must say I'm a bit different to most girls, more like a tomboy.

I wore a traditional wedding dress with pearl beading. It was not the original dress that i picked as the first one had to be altered and was done wrong, so when i went for a fitting two weeks before the wedding it didn't fit and couldn't be changed. Has anyone else had wedding dress problems??????[smirk]

When I get married I'm definately going to wear an ivory dress with a HUGE flowing skirt & train, and loads of detail on the bodice

Mrs.Landmarker wore a stunning white lacey top, with a black lower half to midi length. I have no idea what it cost, probably about fifteen quid. After the doo she shortened it to mini length, and in those days that was short!

Thanks for reminding me of it.
