Just wanted to say how impressed we are with their new system.

My daughter had an X ray taken at the Vicky in Glasgow on the 21st of November.

Without going into too much detail,when she came home on Thursday we werent happen with her Gp down there.
A Gp saw her on Friday in Portree and today down in Broadford the general surgeon decided to view her X ray on line with this special computer
Totally amazing that her records can be accessed like this.


Unfortunatly we now have to wait till after the holidays to get an MRI scan done in Glasgow.

At least Highland have decided this cant be left and will now push Glasgow to do something.:D

Thank you Alice,we really hope so too but are not niave eneogh to think this growths nothing and our Skye medical team think so too.

This new computer system has been slated before but without it our local surgeon would have had to take another xray .

Wow i never knew that was able to be done!

Especially being in Portree i know that it is a long journey to travel for more xrays and things (My partners family is in Struan, Skye)
