Does anybody know anyone who's a wizz with outboards? Got Suzuki DT65 - changed the impeller - but now it's back together it won't go through the gears?

If you have split the leg to do the impeller i would guess that the gear linkages are not aligned or connected properly take it apart again and realign the linkages

It does sound like a gear linkage problem, if you cant sort it out check on http://forums.iboats.com/ loads of posts regarding all types of out board engines, repair and advice.
