Sad news- the sublime folk guitarist Davey Graham passed away yesterday after a short fight with lung cancer.

We lost Davy a long time ago but it is sad to know that he has gone. Got the news from Duck Baker yesterday. Davy waited too long before seeing his doctor. It was his choice to srop the radiology. RIP Davy. He recorded his last CD at the Lighthouse in 2006.

He was certainly "out there" a strange experience & indeed a privelige to have had him in the studio,

"Davy, there's hail stones on that take we'll have to do it again"

"That's okay, it's a lighthouse you can expect hail now & then, leave the hail stones in"

"Okay Davy I can't remove them"

"Leave the hail stones in!!"

"It's cool Davy I can't remove them"

"JUST LEAVE THEM IN MAN"

"Okay Davy I'll leave them in;)"

"Isaac you're a good man, I like you, not many would leave hail stones in"

RIP Davy, you were one of a kind
