My partner has emailed the council regarding opening a business in the near future. Its a business that there is none of in Caithness.

He emailed them over a month ago and still no reply?!!!

All he asked was for some information and when he researched on the internet how to get this it said to email them but still nothing!

Anyone have any ideas would be great! Thanks!

When in doubt about paperwork arriving I always revert to snail-mail, by recorded delivery. That way you can track when it was delivered. I have never successfully emailed the council about anything. Now I phone in the first instance to the service point and then have a name and address to send my letter to.

You could always print off a copy of the email and send it with a covering note and enquiring why you have not received a reply.

Thanks for the advice all. We will try phoning them to see if we can get the information we are looking for.

I think they are going to over rule allowing the business to open tho! But worth a try!
