Don't know if it's the dark nights, but definitely going through a b & W phase!

tjc,

Olrig New Cemetery, I'm not sure if that is known as Castletown, thanks for the comments.

Ahh...

Us Castletooners are used to calling it Castletown :D but your right, it is Olrig ...

The middle cemetery... I know where you are now.

Cheers. :)

wifie,
Yes No. 4 is one of my current favourites, not my usual subject matter and taken on a day when nothing was really working, only went in this part of the graveyard out of curiosity, saw this and instinct took over!

A couple more.

Another current favourite, bit more processing on this than normal.

Loch Calder is a fantastic photo location! Your bw treatment suits it very well!
I guess you took the second one with your little digicam, or is it cropped quite a bit? Anyway, love the stripy effect of the snow on the monster machines :-)

Raven,

The last one is with a DSLR, but at 800 asa, then in the b&w conversion film grain added. brings back memories of some of the wonderful grainy high speed black and white films.

You have some great captures there, I like the boat ones and the last one.

Thanks for sharing them.

Somewhere new for me.

I had meant to go for a quick walk on the beach at Sinclairs Bay, but was so busy having a rant about a statement made by a Politician on the radio that I forgot to take the turning!
So came back from Wick the long way, and went to Auckengill Harbour.

Reminds me that there is so much more of Caithness to Discover!

Really like those North Light... especially Loch Calder, it`s a cracker.

Been out at Auckengill Harbour a couple of times too this last while but never got anything like you got there. I like that one too.

:)
