Thanks kitty kat I've just done this for my 6-year-old grandson and emailed it to this Mum's pc. He's just telephoned me to tell me all about it. He couldn't figure out why Santa had his photo in his book and knew all about him. He was over the moon. Thanks again for the link.;)

I still remember mum and dad having to sit my littlest sister down and having to have the talk about santa.. it broke her heart...but she believed for a whole year more than her friends... me and my sister just younger were not allowed to tell her the truth we were bribed and threatened in equal measure

oh what age would you have the santa talk?

after my last post it started me wondering at what age is it too old to believe in the fat man in the red suit?

personally, i dont think theres a set age. Just tale your lead from your kids.

my son is 9 next week and is starting to question it, but you can tell he doesnt want to be told that his friends are right... so i have decided to make it a huge xmas this year for him, then tell him sometime next year...

my girl is 8 next week (watch out for the happy birthday thread for her please) and i think its enough for her she isnt so interested i will leave it till after christmas she is getting older and wiser and i dont want her to get picked on next year because of it.

she has young family members and will also be bribed and treated to goodies in equal measures.

but she will be old enough to realise how upset they would be if you look at the poll it is saying there are double the children over 5 who believe

im glad my son saw this this year, i had the "santa" talk with him last night, so im glad he had 1 year of it. (he still wants to see it next year as he wants to track "christmas" instead of "santa")
