Do you all buy pressies for your fur and feather friends? Cara has her own stocking, sad I know !! She'll be getting her usual squeaky toy and a couple of treats from Santa :D (wish we had Christmas smilies)

Absolutely. He is part of the family so always gets a couple of things wrapped up and put under the tree. The usual stuff, Schmako's, chewy hedgehogs, chewy toothbrush and some dog chocolate buttons.

Hee hee glad I'm not alone
Cara is really good at opening her presents, but never bothers them under the tree, we all open one each after midnight on Christmas Eve and set hers out for her and she gets stuck in.

Benjy loves getting his pressies! The cats are never interested.

I always get him squeaky toys as the first thing he does is 'squeeze' it to see if it makes some kind of noise and he's not interested if it doesn't squeak or rattle!
Having said that he does like a bouncy ball.

He gets so excited as I 'help' him unwrap them.

So there are three new toys waiting to be wrapped.:D

The only thing my dog will want for Christmas will be what's on the table and not under the tree . . . . though I'm sure she'll get a new Kong or something.

I dont think alcahol is in any way suitable for a canine:eek:, and even the thought of it would make any pet owner squirm.Although they do sell pet beer in PAH if you require it.;)

There are a lot of things that you dont see as appropriate, each to their own. One can of murphys for a wee pipsqueek of a dowg might be over the top but for a newfie its not harming him and he loves it.

We aint daft enough to get him drunk so leave him and us to enjoy ourselves.

Go find someone else to annoy.

Hey well proven fact that stout is good for dogs, it is rich iron and it helps for a glossy coat,
Here Tiny will be "Home Alone," but with the tender care of a neighbour so maybe there will be a slice of turkey or 2 or 10!
He's already had his new toy which has been battered and scalped!

After six weeks of filling hot water bottles three times a day, we've got Av an infra-red pet heat pad. I think I now have the happiest cat in Sutherland!

So far my cats have got a penguin cat bed, an activity centre come scratch post thingy and a christmas crinkle tunnel. No doubt before xmas arrives they will have a few more things as well. They are so spoilt it beggers belief but we do refer to them as 'the kids' and wouldnt have it any other way. Even so, you can guarantee they will be more interested in the wrapping paper and the boxes than anything else.

Well, she's about 20, arthritic and we don't have central heating, so she deserves a bit of pampering :)
