Scots management admitted it would be a hard group to qualify from.
Late last night, they were still in optimistic mood of being placed in the group, although negotiations with Faroe Islands had broken down as to which of the 2 will finish last in the group.
Apparently they could not reach agreement on who gets the wooden spoon, as the Faroes say they have " more right" to it than the scots.
As they have received it so many times in the past, lawyers will hopefully find in favour of Faroes being last & scots getting respectable 6th place!
I suppose we can live in hope of mercy from the French / Italy & If no joy...Well at least we can always support "all the other teams" in Englands group...its your duty as a scotsman!
