Hi was just wondering if anyone has won anything decent on the lottery scratch cards in caithness? I have never heard of anyone winning! I win maybe £2 or £1 but thats it!! :mad:

The most I have won is £33.00. I have more than one win of £10.00. But no real Big winning tickets as of yet. I will keep on trying though I suppose.

I seem to remember a £2000 winner in Frasers shop many moons ago, and a bigger £10000? winner in the Thruso CO-OP.

I can't say I play them myself though.

one of my mates bought 100 scratch cards and only can out with £125! pretty lame like.

I don't know what the odds on winning quoted on scratch cards is but where else would you get 25% these days?

About 10 years ago I bought 2 cards one Saturday, one was £100 win the other nothing. Went and cashed it in (same shop) and bought 2 more. One had £27 the other was another £100! Then went a while before winning anything more than £1/£2. Never buy them now-a-days but have had a few good wins playing on-line ones, the odds of winning are much better on-line. :D

You set your limit and it will warn you when you reach it and won't let you play any more games without changing your preferences.

sometime last year, i spent £20 on the scratch cards and came out £25,very delighted, biggest won in my life:D

Now & again i buy a £5 scratch card when im in tesco, the 1st time i bought one i won £75 so i bought another one & won £50 straight at the back of it, i was delighted as i'd just spent £90 on shopping so my shopping just really cost me a fiver.

Perhaps I am missing something but by what you posted you had made a profit of £25.00.

Win £75.00 + Win £50.00 = £125.00

Less the £10.00 you paid for the Cards = £115.00

Less the £90.00 you paid for Shopping = £25.00

So you made a £35.00 Profit and your Shopping cost you nothing.

Fantastic and well done you, wish I could do this and I will give it a try with a £5.00 card next time I am in Tesco. I did not even know there was a £5.00 Card you could buy.

I am Very Jealous and I hope that I will be able to follow in your footsteps and win like you did and I hope you can do this again. :D

The most i have won is £200 on a £5 card. Also won £75 on a £2 card and i won £20 last night on a £5 card when i was over in Tesco doing my shopping!
