i"m looking to set up an EP launch for a Caithness band in the next 2 or 3 months but want to make it more like a party than a concert (although there would be live bands). Unfortunately because of certain overheads we would need to charge a minimal entrance fee.

What would entice yourselves (the Caithness public) to attend such an event?
What would make it more like a party than a gig?

Any (sensible) ideas would be very much apreciated.

Cheers

Party Games? Ice Cream & Jelly? Don't call the tickets, "tickets" think of something better?

Have it themed? Mind you... that might scare people off?

admit it reev, its another excuse for you to dress up lol. I think giving out party bags at the end of the night would be a good idea lol. playing party games like musical chairs or musical statues when the bands playing their songs would be funny. oh and the jelly should be vodka jelly.
