Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

I want to be in Canada for my 50th birthday. To go from west to east across there on the train. To soar high up above Niagra in a hot air ballon. To see the Polar Bears in Alaska.

Well what about you?:D

CP I like your ambition; I really hope you achieve at least part of it. :)

Five years from now I hope that the free bus pass will have been extended universally and I too will travel, travel, travel!

If it isn't I would like to have some land with which I could grow much of my own food and foster lots of dogs and give them space to have fun, fun, fun!

Sounds good to me :) I would love to visit a proper Indian reservation, hear about their history and lives. Visit Canada in fact anywhere in the world.

I hope to be pottering round the Canaries and other islands on our new(probably 2nd hand) boat ( have to find one first and say bye to the one we have now)

Having driven through a couple in 2000 they might not be what you imagine them to be. Although I'm not sure what you mean by a 'proper' one. No tee-pees I'm afraid on the regular variety..nee feathers in their heeds either...no nowt much except from low rent bungalows, trailers and pick-up trucks.

Five years time? As long as I'm healthy and as happy as I am now then I'll be a rich man. :D

Indian lands rather than the places they have been moved to and the way of life they have to live. I know some of the lands you are not allowed on but would love to see them and feel the land, sense the history.

arana negra...Would like me and my other half, and others )(Torvaig; Golach; Gleeber) to name but few to hitch up our 'wagons'
with you within sight of Monument Valley one evening when flames streak the reddening sky and there's enough of a breeze to fan the flames of uz campfire. We could drink hard and long as the sun sank behind those sandstone monoliths and dusk became dark we'd pow-wow all neet.

I wonder what the tribes called 'Monument Valley'...at Mt.Rushmore I asked the guide what the original name of Mt.Rushmore was and he looked completely baffled....the 'Indians' had heroes too....and they also had names for their mountains.

Revenge will be theirs though - check out Crazy Horse Mountain.

Eeeh..this Abbot Ale works wonders....am transported!

Incidentally, in five years time I'd hope to be walking without a grimace, approaching retirement with a fully recovered ISA and a swelling pot.

Not talking bellies here you understand.

In five years time itll be 2013 and according to the Mayans the world will end in 2012 so Im hoping to be "up there" or "out there" or maybe even "down there" with no physical body to hinder me! :Razz Cant wait! [lol]

How lovely to hear from someone who is so content. I hope you will still be healthy and happy in five years time.:D

To be honest I don't really want to think about where I will be in 5 years time as I like to live one day at a time(can't really cope with the future as I am a worrier!). I do of course dream and know what I would like to be doing.
I would really like better health for myself, more money so I could move to a lovely house and run an animal sanctuary and of course health and happiness for those I care for both human and animal.

"six grandfathers" full of wisdom and warmth the native americans. I prefer that , Mt Rushmore sounds quite clinical...

I hope to have moved into a new detached house (please tell me the recession will be over by then). I hope to have passed my degree and also I hope to be working for a decent company, earning a good wage. I hope that my elder children are in good jobs or getting a decent post-school education. I hope that my hubby and I are as loved up as we are now. I hope my family are still happy and healthy and that my granny is less cantankerous than she usually is.;) I hope that Daniel Craig is still playing Bond. I hope to have been to Paris for my tenth wedding anniversary and to New York for my 40th birthday. Hope to be at least a stone lighter (I can dream) Hope to be an aunty to my sisters child and hope she finally gets married to her bloke.
MMMM gonna be a busy bunny for the next few years.
