When we were down in England we bought a motorola V500 from a big car boot sale, got it unlocked and we can't make any calls or receive any calls, we had problems with the messaging to but we got that sorted, just sussed it out but we r having major problems with making calls

We never got any manuals or charger, just the phone

Does anyone have any idea what to do??

anyone got this phone and could lend us a manual???

Please please!!

Cheers

I cant see it being down to a configuration fault.

I would say the phone is barred from making or receiving calls.
If you use a voda sim in it then you will be able to receive and send txts but you would not be able to send/receive calls.

If you use any other sim in it then you will get nothing.

Try a manual roam for the provider and select it.

Hope this helps

That is exactly whats happening, like u said vodaphone send/recieve msgs but no calls and o2 nothing and orange nothing

I looked on google for a manual but most of them u have to pay for £6

I'll have a look on ebay and try and find 1 there, might win 1 for a penny LOL
