Can anybody help, my daughter has got to design & make a model with a scottish theme for her challenge at school . You have got try to recycle materials to make the model e.g. card, paper wood plastic etc. I am no use at this kind of thing so any ideas would be so so much appreciated.
Thank you

What sort of help are you looking for. I make scenery for tabletop fantasy wargames. That means houses, rivers, general landscapes.
I make them from cereal packets, tubes from kitchen towels, paper maché, odds and ends from anything and everything available.

The first thing she has to decide is what she wants to make. I got part of my Higher Art with Merit designing a Graveyard.

Example of what I have made

:D I bet Nessy will look great. Maybe paper-maché would be good. All you need is wallpaper paste and newspapers, remember though that wallpaper paste has anti-fungicide in it so you should wear rubber gloves of some sort. Oh and a hairdryer is handy if you can't wait for it to dry naturally.

LOL if I had the room, you would be very welcome. But... Hubby might object a little because he already has to put up with me saving things thinking they will be useful for buildings.

Why doesn't she just gather all the junk and make a miniature model of Seater Landfill Site.
