Door Dipping

Hi, has anyone had their doors dipped to strip the paint off and did it work well? Are the doors soft after doing it?
I would appreciate your comments if you have had it done. :)

Not sure if anyone up here does it. I had a few ledge and brace doors done some years ago.
It does give then a nice finish and if you put teak or danish oil on them after they do look good.
You have to be a bit more carfull with doors that have joints in them because the caustic can melt the glue and spoil the structure of the door.
