My late dad was great for his bowls and spent many a happy hour(s) at the Rosebank green.
I have just found some old medals that my dad won.
The medals are made of silver and inscribed:-
"R.B.C. Bruce Cup (Open Rinks) Won by G. Robertson (Third) 1950"
and
"R.B.C. Sutherland Cup Open Pairs Won by G. Robertson & W.J.B. McLeod 1950"
Was just wondering if the RBC is still going strong and if those bowls competitions are still held.
He also has wooden shields with siver plaques for other competitions.
