I get the feeling that a lot of us are at that "funny" age, like when you get to the stage when you dont know what the young ones are talking about, you can remember when you used to have to get up and switch of the tele, phones were things that the better of had...........your at that in between time when you cant relate to the young, you cant relate to the older ones..........its like being on a different planet...............I remember cannon, I remember when all the vans used to come around the butcher, the baker etc ....................seems like a few lifetimes ago, they speak in a different language as well DVD, MP3, DOS or is it BOS, CDs, XP, PIN nos, usernames, passwords, sec words to remember the password:confused...........someone on the phone today asked me my name and I really had to think, even giving my address is a problem.............and dont ask me my mobile no........I havent a scooby :confused............Im that age:cry:

Misread that first time - thought you said 30 grandkids  I've only got 3 but had my bus pass a few years ago so must be a bit older. Feels like it sometimes then I think of all my 80+ friends who are gadding around the world.

I have to agree jaws growing up is no fun at all, and the key to eternal life may well be having a young mind along with a positive mental attitude :D

Thats great, you make me feel like a youngster again, I'll be 64 in March, retired last year and enjoying every minute of it.

Keep up the posts 'Oatcakes' I look forward to reading your posts which will definitely reflect the experience of this life, which is great, but at times is terrible for us all.

54 years old.
The only significant advantage here is that I was a teenager when the Beatles were huge(still are I suppose), and when Manchester City were the best team in the country. England, that is. Although Celtic might have given us a run for our money.
