Just back from a wonderful week in shetland, i stayed in the north and drove over 500 miles on the mainland just exploring and taking pictures.

Hi Buttercup,
that's situated at Stenness, by Eshaness in the north west of the mainland, there's various plaques around stating that shetland is basically on volcanic rock, i assume this has been made by someone to show the start of shetland as there is no plaque or explanation there, just this great model.

Aye last pic looks cosy! What is the castle called Tugs? Must visit Shetland sometime - never been there. :)

Cracking photo's, but green with envy Tuggs, used to live up on Unst and miss it very much, summers were so much fun but the winters :eek: still fun but blimey it got a bit blowy !
