Anyone see the lively thrash troubadours in Glasgow on monday?

The academy is a far better venue than the secc which is a cavernous dump.

Slayer were ferociously good. Trivium were rubbish.

A mate of mine said the same about Trivuim, that they were utter pants!

And that Slayers sound was terrible.

He left before the show was finished as the sound just made it very un enjoyable.

Slayer are the one band i want to see that i have not seen yet, i have had chance after chance since 1988 to rectifiy that, but each and every time something has thrown a spanner in the works, this time around it was simply my lack of finances, the next time they tour i'm just going to have to sell a kidney :eek:

The sound for trivium was dreadful but the fog seemed to lift for slayer and the sound was perfect, heard every note. The new song thats on youtube is even better live.
