Ebay Bans Ivory

Ebay worldwide have finally decided to ban sales of Ivory items from 1st January 2009. Good on them. Better late than never.

I have to agree though it is not illegal to buy or sell antique ivory ebay has made the right decision as there are far to many people selling fake antique ivory and by that I mean it is real ivory but new(Illegal) and made to look old. Whilst we can do nothing about old ivory we can do all we can to stop ivory being poached. the more people that refuse to buy ivory of any vintage the better
