hi all

since friday 24 october, i have had little or no freeview signal only 6 or 7 channels are working

is anyone else having this problem

i'm in the springpark area of thurso

Continual problem for us too (outside Halkirk). Usually we cannot get some of the ITV channels. Last night we had a different scenario - could get ITV but not BBC1, 2 or 3. Could get BBC4 OK as well as Dave, etc. No idea what's going on.

There are continuing transmitter engineering works which I believe are enabling the lower output channels to be upgraded and a better signal overall.

The following info can be found on the Freeview Transmitter webpage for Rumster - poor reception and short service breaks for digital, analogue and radio look like continuing until some time in November.

Whilst I can not comment on the technical aspects of Freeview, I visited the Rumster Mast yesterday afternoon and can confirm lots of vans, skips, aerial baskets, cables etc at the mast. Considerable work seems to be in progress.

Thats a shame for you but mine here in Wick is going fine, it maybe depends on the area they are fixing.
