Digital radio...is it available

I was looking to buy a digital radio and i have checked the websites. some say i wil receive some say i wont:confused.
I live in the west gills area does anyone know of any digital radio users down that way or know for defo if i can get it

As far as we are aware digital is still not available in this area and won't be for some time. You could check the Ofcom website for a definate answer

hi folks,dont know what the status is with the signal but i live in coach road in wick and i can pick up 4 digital radio channels most of the time, reception isn't always reliable.
i can receive mfr...absolute...heat....and planet rock.oops forgot i can also pick up all the usual bbc channels too.hopefully wont be long till they sort it out properly so we can get better reception and selection:D
