I walked Scapa beach again this year as i've done over the last few years when i've been in Orkney for the Royal Oak Memorial.
The last few years when i've been here the beach has been littered with dead Guillemots and Puffins that have starved to death.
This year i'm pleased to say the beach is showing no sign of starving birds.
I only found 3 fresh dead birds Guillemot,Cormorant and an adult Gannet.
So things at the moment are looking good.
