Since the credit crunch I have noticed a dramatic increase in online games such as bingo and poker being advertised on T.V. Also adverts for companies such as "Brighthouse" where the tag line is "you can pay weekly and they don't have scary credit checks". Of course not because the interest rates are extortionate.

Is this Britains big idea, people who cannot afford bills can shell out on these sites to possibly win some money or get themselves even deeper in debt.??[evil]

You are not the only one that has noticed, They are playing on the fact that people have had to cut back on lots of things and are therefore a little depressed(understandably). So they are promoting this idea that you can win your way out of it all for only a few pounds anfter all they are even giving you money to play(Cant be bad). In reality it is just a con to get the most vunerable people hooked on gambling from their own home.
I have gambled I have visited casino's and I have won and loss a few pounds but it was at their place of gambling and I think that is how it should be. To entice people to gamble in their own home is wrong.
