Working Sheepdog

Hi,
Please point me in the right direction. I would like a good working sheep dog (bitch) for hubby to help him with his sheep. It would help if it was well trained and of a good breed but that all depends on the price. He has had a sheep dog in the past and know he would love another. I am trying to surprise him with one. Also it has to be good with children.
