Yeah, I use it occasionally. It's a whole lot cheaper than phoning when you're away from home.

But don't configure it to automatically debit your paypal/credit card account! (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/09/02/mysterious_skype_hijackings/)!!

We have been using it for a few years now from here in Spain. Great for keeping in touch for free with family and friends back in the UK.

i have it it is great have a skype fone to it is really good you get free skype to sypke calls as long as you top up £10 per month you can get the fones for £39.99 from woolies well worth the money

If you happen to have an Apple iPhone or 2nd gen iPod touch a neat app is "fring" which allows you to make calls using Skype.

Used to have phone bills of £40 a month and over when I called home once or twice a week. Now I pay practically just line rental, make international calls everyday and have the side benefit of actually seeing the person I am talking to on the webcam. Skype is great!
