New central heating Installed (problems)

Hi I've just had a new system installed, a Worcester 35cdi Combi/boiler and seem to be having problems with the location of the Digistat, its not sending the signal to the boiler unless I put the Digi-stat in the next room it loses the signal. I live in a bungalow the best place is in the hall 3 rooms away, still within the recomended range, any suggestion's, or I'll have to get the experts out.

The installer was corgi registered but I mean get the Worcester rep in as it may be a faulty Digi-sat.

I'd get the installer back to make it work as it should then he can refer back to the manufacturers if required.
