I see that the qe 2 is back in the clyde for the first time in forty years as part of her farewell tour.she is a lovely ship.

Indeed she is Trucker. I remember upon her launch in '67 when I sent off to the Daily Express for a handsome poster of her in expanded/exploded form...detailing all the innards etc. It was pinned to my bedroom wall. It's coming to something when huge liners are coming and going in ones owns lifetime.

She was in nearby Liverpool last week, but I missed seeing her in the flesh as it were. Now the chance has gone for good, and for the moment, I'm a little sad about it................................................ .................................................. .....
........................................but I'm over it now.
