Has anyone heard that LED are to shut their doors fairly soon?
Surprised to see that buisness closing, always seems fairly busy

i think it has been bought over by thurso building supplies.

I heard that Thurso building supplies were interested in it as well, it's definately been advertised for sale, mind you they've also been trying to sell the other two plots of land they own up there. I'm sure the guy says they're moving south again

I didnt realise Thurso Building Supplies were moving up there.
Thats good then would be a shame to lose such a handy buisness like LED. I hope the new owners open a bit more often than the current owner though!!

Thurso building supplies were to be bought by a national builders merchant and The owner was then going to buy LED. As far as I can understand the deal to buy the building supplies has fallen through as then has the the LED purchase

yeah that sthe understanding I have.
LED is definately closing down as they are selling everything off at the moment.

A real shame for the community losing that buisness.
