I heard on the grape vine that Caithness has one of the most active and supportive groups in Scotland.is this true? Before I start a riot all that matters is that the parents do need the support.Bringing up a child with eg a autistic disorder is not easy its not 'normal parenting'.3000 kids were diagnosed last year with autistic spectreme disorder,of that 2780app were boys.80% of parents of these kids will experience a mental health problem.Until you,ve lived it please dont judge. Its a very lonely life. :D

There are Autism support groups in both Wick and Thurso I believe. Do you live in Caithness?
