The wee lassie who won the lottery has made me laugh?Over the past few weeks there has been turmoil in the banks.Thank you wee lassie for saying "I'll buy myself a milkshake and make sure my family is okay".Love it.Because I would buy myself a coffee and do the same thing. So the rest of the banking world have a wee look at this lassie, cos she might have less than you,but she has a lot more.

Oh and if I were to win you can have the house to retire to Caithness to. ;)

That can be my charitable bitty :Razz

I would derive the greatest of pleasure in helping my family, friends and giving to others - it would make me feel so happy.
Then I would have a real holiday where I would be waited on - after 42 years of marriage I have never had a holiday which wasn't self catering.

If it was a 'biggy Euromillions on heat' then I would see the family and friends out that have been nice to me over the years. I would even treat my nice work colleagues enough to pack in work.

Then I would build a nice eco-house that would be on an episode of Grand Designs (iow it will be the worst design ever, hopelessly over budget and schedule, but in the end it will be the best house ever.)

Then I would buy a ticket on Branson's space craft then buy ywindythesecond off and have a 250MW windfarm built and watch even more money roll in.

I'd buy Cedric a few drams.
and if I won the Euro rollover stupid amount i'd pay for the flights oota Wick airport for a year for everyone in Caithness if they wanted to go doon sooth, and the bus and the train if they only wanted to go to Inverness.
oh and i'd get a few more plastic re-cycling collection points round the county.

but if i could buy anything i think i'd buy some sleep. man i'm tired.

I would give half of it to Charity.

That should keep my wife Charity quiet for a while.

Seriously, as others have already said, I would make sure my nearest and dearest were financially secure.

I'd buy a brand new house, for my sin
And a bathroom I can play baseball in
And a king size tub big enough for ten plus me

Won't need a Credit card that's got no limit
'Cos I'll have so much money I'll be rolling in it
Gonna join the mile high club at thirty-seven thousand feet

I want a reliant Robin and a new guitar
My star on Hollywood Boulevard
Somewhere between Cher and James Dean is fine by me

Id take my whole family to Disneyland USA as they always say they want to go there, wed then go to Furtaventura for a wee break & work our way round the canaries to the Med Islands & along the Med . To me that would be fantastic.
Id also think about hiring a hitman to pop off some annoying people that are really a pain to myself , family & friends.

As This is a dream folks! Its never gona happen but then thats what Mr Dunbar said & he used to fix my car- It Could happen To YOOOOOOOO:Razz

I'd buy endless truckloads of good pork pies
And a pointy stick to poke poor folk in the eye
And give me enough lard sarnies to give me a cardiac.

Yeah, I wanna be a rich git.

The first person to win the Wednesday Lottery came from a farm in the Carse of Gowrie, and was a school chum of mine, my youngest son on hearing me proudly state this, said, Dad that's the nearest you will ever get to winning the Lottery, knowing some one else who has won it. [disgust]
And needless to say the most I have ever won was £47, I was never meant to be rich, but my good looks and taste in friends makes up for my lack of riches [lol]

I'm gonna get real rich and get real dead
They'll find me with a knitting needle in my head
Cause I refused to give some dosh to me dear old Gran.

Yeah, I wanna be a rich git.

I've been sat in the bath (the one in the shed) thinking up lyrics to 'Wanna be a Rock Star'.

Most of them are unprintable.........

This year we went for the hotel bit for the first time... not all it is cracked up to be. Will be returning to self-catering from now on.

As for me - I would pay off the mortgage on my way to hand in my notice. Then retire to Caithness or Sutherland. Donate a chunk to the Diana Landmine Victims charity (always said I would) and NOT tell the family!
