On the front page today (9th January) there is a set of old postcards, and a request for someone to point out Scorriclett, pictured in one of them.

It's at map reference ND247503, according to Multimap. It's a farm in Watten, and the view in the old picture is a spot I used to play around a lot when I was young. The funny fence structure across the river in the picture is a water gate (nothing to do with the late Pres. Nixon), preventing animals from using the river to cross the boundary between Scorriclett and Strath, downstream and to the North, which is where I lived until I was 14. Yes there really are trees like that in Watten! It's a beautiful spot, though you wouldn't want to stand where the bloke is in the picture when the burn is in spate.
