Firefox - not downloading properly

I've been having this problem for a while now.

I click to download a file
File Opens In the Downloads window
I spend however long waiting for the file to download
File downloads
I click on the link in Downloads window
**Nothing happens** :(
I go and search through my file to the location where the file downloaded to
**Nothing there** :(


Any help????

Reverted back to firefox 2 and it fixed the problem

**Update**
I reverted to 2 and this fixed the problem! I wasn't too pleased with 2 so I upgraded to 3 again and the problem was still fixed!
