Was that the film written by Neil M Gunn? What about the Dunbeath Heritage Centre?

Hi,

The Dunbeath Heritage Centre is definitely the place to ask. I don't know if they sell copies, but they put on a showing from time to time in the summer.

I know that parts of the film were shot in Lybster on the beach by the Waterlines Centre, and involved some of the local characters - unfortunately no longer alive.

Hope this helps.

Dunbeath Heritage Centre is definitly the place to go if you are interested in the Silver Darlings or Neil Gunn.
They are very helpful and will put you on the right road.

I did notice that one of the Sky movie channels showed the Silver Darlings a few months back.
