Hi All Happy New Year.
I'm looking for any information on the Ancestors or the Descendents of Donald Sutherland (1774-1876) & Barbara Mcleod (1798-1877).
They were married in 1816 and had family
George born possibly 1826 or 1832
Margaret Mcpher Sutherland b 1834
Barbara Sutherland b1838
Helen Sutherland b1841
Robert Sutherland was a son who was present at both his parents Deaths in 1876 & 1877, but I have no further info on him...possibly born 1815
Donald & Barbara both lived in Dunnet Caithness for most of their married lives with Donald living till the good old age of 102yrs.
They were Farmers from the Census info & Death Certs.
From the 1871 Census they both were born in Edrachilles, Sutherland.
Any information on any of this family or were to look nextwould be helpful.
