Its a heat rating number, 2 being the hottest, 11 the coldest. So the 6 will be slightly hotter than the 7

hehe since i got my hands on it properly friday morning it's had new battery, adjusted clutch, adjusted tick-over, lights fixed (courtesy of great guys at AMS), oil change, loose bits tightened and riden nearly 100 miles lmao

Using a hotter plug could melt a hole in the piston, given the right circumstances.

i'll stick with the 7 plug and risk the oily plug lol easier to clean the plug than to put in new piston and rings :)
