Things I never learn...
The car is not like a tardis .... there is only so much stuff that will fit in the damn thing

The kids will sleep in shifts....one will be crying or complaining and when they are sorted out the other one will start

It rains!

Being the designated driver in a strange place is never fun...

The washing mountain when you get home..

Wide awake children after an 8 hour drive through the night wanting to be entertained..

The freezer deciding that while you are away is a very good time to die...

but all in all it was a good holiday:lol:

Its great to get away and even better to get home.
Why do freezers do that,? they go for years without a problem and soon as you go away they flip.

Was relived when we got back from honeymoon to find that nothing had gone amiss, 2hrs later having emptied the suitcases into the wash basket and sat down for a cuppa the bliddy ceiling fell down, knocking out the tv and causing loads of other damage. Apparently the boiler had a slow leak and the ceiling just waited for us.

Luckily the insurance was up to date and we can laugh about it now a number of years have passed
