I was reading this story on sky news about how the human-rights group amnesty international tried to help to stop this man from being executed, i ask myself why? i know amnesty international have done some great work, but to try and stop this man from the firing squad i dont understand. Surely the victims have to be given some thoughts and this man properly punished for his crimes.

Usually amnesty's arguments center around the accused not getting a fair trial. My thoughts are maybe he is mentally ill (either that or just sick in the head!) and they think this may not have been taken into account.
