I can't help noticing that there seems to be a significant amount of turmoil in the financial world at the moment.
The current crises have been caused by significant mismanagement of large banks and other financial institutions by people who were selected as being the best in the country and who were extermely highly paid for doing a good job. With enormous bonuses.
Now it becomes apparent that they did not do a good job, in fact they have collectively made a real hash of it.
What I would like to know is: If these 'highly-educated' chancers are not going to give back the obscene bonuses they were given, what should we do about it?
As a side issue we could discuss mismanagement of our pension funds, as big shareholders in these banks, probably by friends of those same bankers. There will probably be nothing but black hole left for me when I retire.
