How do they do it, this time the data on 5000 prison staff.

Should he be sacked? just weeks ago it was details on criminals and then the other loses are listed.

It it not time to go back to paper records?

most of the information which has been lost should never be out of the various offices.

the person removing the information from the offices for whatever reason should be held totally responsible and face the consequences of such a loss - to repay every penny it costs to replace info, paying compensation to victims named in lost information, pay government for time taken and money spent covering the loss of information and security leaks and for any other costs incurred, as well as losing their employment.

If the information should not have been removed from the office - as in several cases of missing information recently - the guilty parties should be charged with theft and be sentenced accordingly.

It does not matter if they are senior government officials - they are guilty of theft of information and should be treated as a spy.

this seems to be becoming more and more of a problem, heads should roll for this.
