I have just sat and watched this magnificent display the the Chinese put on, I thought the display for the Olympic Games opening was great, but IMHO this out shone that one by a mile.

Had tears in my eyes.......absolutely wonderful and for me is is what the true Olympics should be about.............such courage, determination and joy. :Razz

have to get the washing done and dried - where I live no washing hung out on Sunday - so have to get it done today, can watch ceremony tomorrow when all is quiet.

Look forward to watching it now knowing it is good.

Agree with you teeniebash that is courage, determination and joy - used to help some of them train many years ago and it was incredible.

Th pain and perseverance etched in his face was beyond words and an honour to watch.

What a star. An outstanding achievement for a 13-year-old who hasn't reached her peak yet. Well done to her.
