The staff were giving people the opportunity to hold these cockroaches when I was there last - not an offer my son or myself took up!

Here's something I spotted in a conifer in the garden recently. Not quite as big, but one of the largest I've seen - for scale, I'd say the insect that had been caught was about blue-bottle size.
