The rocks below the lighthouse at scrabster, also any of the piers around scrabster.

I also hear that the rocks between Thurso beach and scrabster are good for bass and sea trout. Never tried it myself. Maybe another poster could comment?

Dunnet Beach, either the Castletown end or mid way, both fishing well.

We were out on a small boat in the firth 2 months ago, from Scrabster . It wasnt expensive, I caught a lovely cod & had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
